[censored] yes i'd support it. post-season it's a must, bad calls suck no matter who it helps.

Absolutely. Too many incompetent umpires are affecting these short series.

is it feasible? would you support it? [/ QUOTE ] Yes, but only in situations where a reversal would result in a dead ball or the end of the play (i.e. not the first out of a double play, or and infield fly rule, or something like that). I would also favor calling balls and strikes electroniclly. |

based on the 85 series...I'd support it.
However, like the NFL and NCAA football, conclusiveness would be an issue and even getting the call right with replay is still an issue. I've seen at least 6 blown reviews in the last 2 weeks in games I had no vested interest in (I didn't have a bet, don't support either team, and pretty much was looking for entertainment, not rooting on anyone.) |

Well, I'd think baseball would be easier to review than football, as the tempo of the game doesn't matter much, and there is less confusion to look at.
I think calling balls and strikes electronically would be simple and easy to implement, and that'd help quite a bit. |

The games are long enough already. The replay would just make things worse. I say get rid of it for football too.
The thing is the calls even themselves out in the end. Also, I think that umps/refs would use the replay as a crutch thinking, "even if I miss the call the replay will bail me out." W/out the replay the refs/umps have more incentive to focus on the play and make the right call. |

I wouldn't support it. Hopefully next year the umps sign with my favorite team, the Pirates.

And the Umps would not use replay as a crutch and pay less attention, the umps still want to get the right call, do you think the umps like looking like idiots when they blow the calls? I'm for instant replay in baseball, and this postseason has convinced me. |
