Default $55: Middle pair and flush draw (Blinds battle)

I meant to raise to 150 on the flop, but I think I botched this hand anyway. Should I have checked the turn? How strong do you play this?

If you are going to raise the flop which is a decent option, your raise to 250 is the perfect size. When he checks to you on the turn you should really push, or check depending on your read. A smaller bet is kind of junk because it makes the rest of the hand awkward, and doesn't apply maximum pressure to the villain. You could also just call the flop and go from there. I personally raise though and push the turn.

I almost always take the free card on the turn here, see if I hit one of my 14 outs. Another option is pushing the flop, but if you do that you almost guarantee you are flipping nearly 100% of the time unless you think you can fold out a weaker K.
