What to do with the number one pick
I joined a fantasy football league and I have the number one pick. I plan on picking LaDainian Tomlinson. Any feeback |

Re: What to do with the number one pick
If the scoring rules get changed to something reasonable, there's an argument to be made for a few different guys. As-is, there's only one guy I'd take #1 and it's not close.

Re: What to do with the number one pick
Well since I'm competing against you and all, I shouldn't give advice..but this is a no-brainer. Take Tomlinson. Your only other option is to trade the pick.

I wouldn't take LT until at least 9th.

Re: What to do with the number one pick
not a complete no brainer for me...at least i think there are several options.
i think SD was a bit of a fluke last year...and don't think they will be as good this year...which means LT probably won't have the career year he had in 04-05. |

Re: What to do with the number one pick
IMO this is a no-brainer. Peyton Manning and it's not even close. You are crazy if you don't pick him up.
And LT isn't even the best RB.. |

Re: What to do with the number one pick
Mike, LT is THE only option unless you have some wacky scoring system.

Re: What to do with the number one pick
This is just comical.
People don't realize that in many leagues, Culpepper had a better fantasy year last year than Manning. Sure, Daunte will drop a little bit this year, but it stands to reason that Manning will too, as it'll be dang near impossible to repeat last years stats. |
