Default What to do with the number one pick

I joined a fantasy football league and I have the number one pick.

I plan on picking LaDainian Tomlinson.

If the scoring rules get changed to something reasonable, there's an argument to be made for a few different guys. As-is, there's only one guy I'd take #1 and it's not close.

Well since I'm competing against you and all, I shouldn't give advice..but this is a no-brainer. Take Tomlinson. Your only other option is to trade the pick.

I wouldn't take LT until at least 9th.

not a complete no brainer for me...at least i think there are several options.

i think SD was a bit of a fluke last year...and don't think they will be as good this year...which means LT probably won't have the career year he had in 04-05.

IMO this is a no-brainer. Peyton Manning and it's not even close. You are crazy if you don't pick him up.

And LT isn't even the best RB..

Can I join your league? Do you play for money?

Mike, LT is THE only option unless you have some wacky scoring system.

This is just comical.

People don't realize that in many leagues, Culpepper had a better fantasy year last year than Manning. Sure, Daunte will drop a little bit this year, but it stands to reason that Manning will too, as it'll be dang near impossible to repeat last years stats.
