Waiting for action...
Sat through a session of 6-max, and hit my longest run of bad cards ever (though this will probably pale compared to others.)
In a 35-minute, 44-hand span I was able to play just 1 hand outside the blinds and I folded that one on the flop. During it all I tried to remind myself that the cards will come back around, and I shouldn't try to make something happen with sub-par cards. What do you do/say to yourself to get through these "slumps"? |

Re: Waiting for action...
Listen to music and be happy I'm not losing a lot of money, maybe make one or two loose raises just to make sure that when I do get a playable hand that I want action with, that they all aren't fearful of me and turbomuck (some of you may like this though).

In a 35-minute, 44-hand span [/ QUOTE ] Take Ritalin. Alternatively, play more than 1 table. |

Re: Waiting for action...
Yeah...I'm working up to multi-tabling. Still some work to go.
