Default 2+2 private stud/8 table?

Those of you who also read the Microlimits HE forum know that we occasionally setup a private .50/1 table to practice playing against other "good" players. Is there any interest in doing something similar with S/8?

Fellow 2+2er bisonbison and I were goofing around this afternoon and setup a private S/8 table and played HU for a bit. While it was interesting, we both realized pretty quickly that HU S/8 is pretty boring. But I would be interested in practicing in a full game against other 2+2ers to improve my game.

Any takers?

I'd be interested. I currently have about $10 at Paradise and no money anyplace else, but I can probably make arrangements.

Not that I'm really looking for reasons to stare at computer screens.

i don't claim to be any good, but i'd play some at party or ub; not worth depositing at another site.

I love stud/8 but frankly tight table stud/8 is even more boring than tight table limit hold'em.

Vehn, you're probably right. I've never played in a tight S/8 game. I'm pretty sure that the only reason I make any money in S/8 is because of all the goofballs chasing their (25)7 type draws.

Having said that, I'd be interested in playing against reasonable players (at low stakes) to see how it differs. I'm getting bored with HE and looking for new challenges.

I'm always up for a challenge. Count me in if it goes.

I agree that tight stud/8 would be pretty dull, but I'd still love to play. Sorry I had to bolt so soon today though.

What I'm really interested in though is playing some 2+2 lowball.
