I can see him betting this with pretty much any two, only problem is that you have no folding equity... Dont know how I feel about this, betting out is a better way of finding out if you are good I think.

Sure he does (have folding equity). He's getting 2 to 1 odds to call. That requires about 9 outs. If he has a straight draw it's a marginal call. If he has two overs it's an easy fold. If he has something like A9 and puts our hero on a Jack it's a fold. Obviously, this is very read dependent but if we don't think he has a good hand (because he often makes these types of bets) we can push and he will fold most of the time.

Given that you didn't, do you think he folds his T9o or whatever the times he actually has a pair?

I don't get it.... who is the person value betting in this hand? Is it you? What worse hands are calling this raise? I guess an open-ended straight draw might... but even that has two overs and is actually a favorite. This bet looks more like a bluff to me since we are hoping that a middle pair or naked overs will fold.
