I've been using an older version of LimeWire, which has worked out just fine. But now the older version is giving me errors, and I don't want to install the newer version as it loads your computer up with adware, I believe.

Anyone know what other options there are? I'm looking for .mp3 files mainly, not movies or TV.

XNap is a java based client that works off the limewire network . It might be what you're looking for.

Apparently exeem is good, I have't used it.

Ares was good a few months ago, these things change fast though.
