Re: KK hand
obviously you canīt give him a free card.
So make a bet.. 5$ ? kill odds and let him make mistakes |

Re: KK hand
I would bet the pot, bet ~half the pot on the turn.

Re: KK hand
The guy has $14.25 left. I'd bet the pot and let him push in the rest of his stack. (And call of course)
('Course, I have no idea what I'm doing.) |

Re: KK hand
So you guys basically agree that I should be betting $7 on this flop? I chose to bet $5 instead, but I'm a big fan of underbetting.

[ QUOTE ] but I'm a big fan of underbetting. [/ QUOTE ] That is not the way to beat ssnl [/ QUOTE ] Yeah, it's a really successful strategy at weak-tight tables, but when you're getting called, it's better to get more money in there when you can. FWIW, I think you can still be +EV by underbetting, just less +EV. |

Re: KK hand
Call me crazy but I don't think betting 2/3 of the pot here is underbetting. He's not getting the odds he needs to call so he's making a mistake by drawing if that's indeed what he's doing. I like the $5 bet.

I like the $5 bet. [/ QUOTE ] With implied odds, he's getting 24:5, 4.8:1 on a flop call of $5. FWIW, I did actually bet $5 in this hand. Now, I'm not quite sure what his range of hands is... could someone help me with that? Let's assume that he's a 30vpip/4pfr player. --Dave. |
