Default Am I wasting my time reading TOP, HFAP, and SSH as a No-Limit Player?

I keep reading good things on this forum (and all over the net) about these books, but unfortunately they are all "Limit" books.. Ug

I play strictly No-Limit small stake cash games and low buy in ($100 or less) NL-Tourneys.

I'm not making a post looking for the best NL book, because I have already read it, HOH, I've also read both super systems ect.

I just feel there is something missing from my game still and maybe having a better grasp of limit concepts is the answer?

Do these books also apply to No-Limit?

Sorry if this question has been asked 10000x but i've searched and was unable to find the answer.

Thanks in advance.

TOP fully applies
SSHE loosely applies
HPFAP doesnt apply

TOP is useful for NL, PL, Limit Hold'em, Stud, Omaha, Razz, Draw, and any other variation of poker. Read it.

TOP is just as much a bible for NL play as it is for limit play.

Ciaffone & Reuben Pot-limit and No-limit is a must read, as is Harrington on Hold'em vol 1. (While about tournaments there are lots of similarities between early tournament rounds and cash games.)

The counting outs section in SSHE and also the flop evaluation sections are useful in all Hold'em games.

HFAP will help with your game as well. I play NL as well and all these books are usefull. You just have to use common sense to make some adjustments.

I play only NL, and found SSHE to help quite a bit. The underlying concepts are the same, and my personal exp. shows that a lot of low limit hold em can resemble limit.

As for HPFAP, I just got it, and I have found it interesting. The section on loose passive games has been especially helpful.

I very much like the section on short-handed play. He doesn't content himself to simply give you strategical advice, but gives you the mathematical reasoning behind the changes in play.
