What were those two statistical studies? vpip/pfr = 4 & regression
Within the last 18 months or so there have been two posts on 2+2 that were examinations of different aspects of poker using statistics
The first one was a big study of lots of different poker stats and the poster did a large regression to determine what is relevant and what stats are correlated the most The second was a study of VPIP/PFR to win rate to attempt and find something optimal. The results were that something ~4 was best. If someone has links or remembered who posted these itd be great |

Re: What were those two statistical studies? vpip/pfr = 4 & regression
I wrote a post on vpip and pfr a long time ago but I was just fooling around and I doubt it's the one you're referring to.
This is probably the stats thread you're looking for: CallMeIshmael's stats post and something about Tiger Woods |
