24 season 2 (mega spoilers)

I just got to the point where Reza's fiance shoots the black fbi agent while theyre looking through the computer files, and this is just total bullshit. 24 is entirely built on BS farfetched plot twists, that is literally all the show is. It was bad enough in season 1 where first Nina gets shot, lies down dead, then gets up? Then when Kim is in the car which falls off the cliff, explodes, then it turns out shes ok?

It's ok to have some plot twists that make you go "whoa" but 24 waaaay overdoes it. Lost handles this better because you are waiting for the answers to questions that have already been posed, it doesn't just give you some new 180 degree plot development every episode.

If there's one flaw to 24, it's that it's 00ber-convoluted. That said, Jack Bauer kicks arse.

Yes, that whole scene didn't sit well with me either. There are a few of these wtf moments throughout the series, where it's clear that they're just going for twist value over actual believability. The rest of the show is so quality that it doesn't matter though.

i'm currently 3/4 of the way through that season on DVD.

I also hate the daughter's story line...how many bad decisions can a girl make in a 24 hour period?

the point is that this show is too full of those "back from the dead" or "character you thought was harmless white girl worrying about her wedding dress actually is conspiring with islamic terrorists to nuke LA"
