Default Taking a hand too far, common situation .. ?

7-handed, 5/10. Raise UTG with AQo. Fold to button who re-raises. I call, headsup to the flop.

Flop is Q96 I think. No flush. Bet-call.
Turn is something raggy. Bet-raise-call.
River is raggier. check-bet-call.

Did I play this right?

You lost to KK didn't you?

Without notes on your particular opponent, its hard to tell. More times than not I will have to call it down. Probably lose but you gain some notes from it.

If you do have notes on him, that should make your decision a fair bit easier.

Close, it was aces. I suppose this is an example of my hole-hunt which is led by how to be a tad more aggressive in the right spots, but second close behind is avoiding spilling chips when the chances are big (enough ... ) that I am behind. I guess this is the learning curve, right

Here I was wondering whether to check-raise the flop; that may have shown he was not afraid of top pair. But even then he could behave with another AQ just as if he had KK or AA, which are equally as likely
