Default Messed up steal

Down to 78 PS 5,50 rebuy Blinds 4k/8k

I have been very conservative for a while, made a play which sucseeded, but got some hazzle and feel I will be checked up on so I am waiting for some good cards

Then a no brainer steal comes along I thought

Sb Is apparently some recognized player, alot of onlookers are cheering for him and treats him like some guru

He is capable of alot of plays and good
My stack 110K his 160K

I am folded to on button A-5os

I see this as a good steal opportunity and raise 3xbb
Sb calls bb folds

Flopp 8 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]3 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

I bet 1/2 pot he calls

Turn 4 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
I bet 1/2 pot he calls

The rest is awfull..

I knew that any check on the flopp would make him move at it
After his call with the above texture of flopp-how would u treat the remainings of the hand( and the flopp for that sake)
I messed up bigtime, still feel sick

Why are you acting first? Or is he check-calling?

If he checks the river, check behind. If he leads out, call if it's comfortably small...

P.S. I may be mistaken, but didn't your turn bet pot-commit you? If so, why not a push or check? I'm leaning towards the check/fold...
