Default Tough hand to lay down

How do you all think I did with this hand? Raiser is good, not great, and in late position, had stolen before. He had not reraised, so I got suspicious. Results to come.

Don't min-raise pre-flop. Min-raising is brutal. Either limp or make a legit raise. With JTs from here, I would bring it in for a raise.

I have no idea what this hand is about. Can you explain a little further what your rationale was on every play so I (we) can try to help. Also, can you explain the post title? I don't understand what is hard to lay down, especially since you didn't fold and it would be very easy to lay this hand down to any real resistance?

The table had been folding to every preflop raise, so the min-raise in order in my mind. The villian's reraise made me quite sure he was with suited overs or pocket pair. The flop was as good as I could want so I went after the pot. His reraise made me hesitate quite a bit. I figured I was behind quite a bit. This is why it was tough to lay down. I guess I got a free trip down with his check check. I hope this is what you all want?

The thing is, you should never open-minraise.

Why are you mini-raising with JTs? Make it 1.50 or so if you really must raise.

On the flop I have no issue betting but I wouldn't bet 1/3 of the pot.

Don't open min-raise. Relatively good flop for your hand. I might C/R this hand for a few reasons. One, it will represent the Q and might push him off his hand immediately. Two, you do have a piece of the flop so it is really just a semi-bluff. Three, If he has a Q or an overpair he will probably re-raise you and this will allow you to cheaply figure out where you are at so you don't have to face bets on every street that you feel obligated to call but don't know if your hand is good.

Are you willing to lay this down if he leads out on the turn? I can't see you having the best hand if he bets that turn. As it played out, your hand might be good or you lost to JJ. Anything else and he played it very poorly.
