Default Nut flush question(low content).

Numerous times in hold'em I have heard a player call his hand the "nut flush" when there is a pair on board. Obviously he does not hold the "nuts." In this situation is it still correct for him to call his hand the "nut flush?" Phew. That was a mouthful.

Nut flush being the best possible flush, not the best possible hand... Not to be curt, there's not much more to say.
