Why are you checking the flop?

Turn seems okay.

With your read on MP2, I'm not attempting to check raise this flop. I'd rather bet and have him raise than check and trap the field on this board.

The way you played it, I wouldn't 3-bet the turn even with CO trapped.

Toughy. I'd call down, MP2 raise could mean AQ/KQ, maybe QJ is he's a maniac though. KT is also a possibility (less likely because you have 2 of the Ks). I wouldn't 3-bet this though, even CO could have hit his straight.

Oh yeah, I dont check raise this. I dont think you'll scare anyone drawing to a straight off here, the pots big enough for them to continue regardless. I'd just bet.

Terrible flop line. You were the pre-flop aggressor, thus most likely to bet the flop. You want to bet so the LAA will raise and protect your hand for you.

"LAA" means LAG, right?

It'd be 7.5:1, with 8:1 strongly possible, and even more than that with some fishy types behind.

That being said, it's enough for it to make it risky for them to continue with gutshots.

I'll have to think about it, though... a lot of people didn't like my flop check raise. I figured that I played it like unimproved overcards, until I raised.
