Default O\'Reilly: \'Bush 24 hours late\'

Attention conservatives: It is now OK for you to admit that Bush was 24 hours late in responding to this crisis. Bill O'Reilly has authorized it.

Did he say this during an obscene phone call to someone?

Thanks for keeping it pithy. A signed copy of The No Spin Zone: For Kids is headed your way.

I thought the Republicans would put on a unified front - Republican States, the base, and all that -

but once you end up with 10,000 dead, they start pointing fingers, even if it's only at each other -

I give it a week for the right-wing echo-chamber to get its act together starting singing in harmony again. This is just a blip on the radar. Grover Norquist was obviously on vacation over the long weekend.

White House Enacts Plan to Ease Political Fallout from Katrina -NY Times

Here will be their arguments

-Poor people rely on the government teet too much
-US Military could not rescue anyone because they aren't used to getting shot at
-The Mayor caused the slow response (even in MS)
-Democratic mayors and Govs cause problems and can't fill out paperwork correctly
-Posse Commitatus

I hope the public won't buy their crap this time around

It really may sound like a joke, but I seriously don't doubt the Republicans message machine's lack of a coherent message is due in no small part to the fact that it was late August/Labor Day weekend when this occured; like I said, I give it a week before the machine is running full throttle and all this right-wing flailing will be put to an end.

Let the endless repetition begin...

This is the first time I've watched a full episode of The Factor. I didn't realize that O'Reilly actually puts out a "talking points" memo on his website for download. I was half-assed joking in my original post, but I guess each Republican monkey is told exactly what to say and exactly what the party line is.

Whats really funny is watching the liberal circle jerk going on over the outside possiblity that their might be some political gain for their politicians from the exploitation of a national tragedy.

Admit it. O'Reilly's listeners need a heckuva lot of help. Crib notes on today's lesson plan keeps them all on the same page like all good little brownshirts should be.
