Re: I dont like my line
This hand is absolute garbage and should be folded preflop.
Postflop, raise or fold. I prefer fold as any JQT98754 or spade is going to give you trouble. |

Re: I dont like my line
Like Joe said this is not a good hand. Bottom set will mostly get you broke against good players. The only flops where you rate to make much money is when you flop a full and someone is willing to go broke with a board set. The only exception I would make would be to call in position headsup against a preflop raiser marked with AA or KK and who won't ever fold it no matter what comes, or maybe on the button assuming you can get away from a losing situation. But overall, bottom set with no draws is a trap hand.

Re: I dont like my line
I would call with this draw and attack if nonthreating card comes off. Otherwise fold. Also at 50PLO you can safely play bottom sets but be careful at higher stakes. The best way to avoid these situations is to muck trash preflop.

Re: I dont like my line
If I were going to play that hand at all I would raise preflop. But I agree with the other posters that at 200PLO and up I wouldn't try that.
Calling the flop is standard, and raising a safe turn is the best line unless you become convinced that your set is outmatched. |

Re: I dont like my line
Do you think I should call when the two stacks in front of me only have a less than pot-bet left? Would you try and isolate with these 2 small stacks or would I want to just call and let more people into this hand?

Re: I dont like my line
oh, yeah, didn't notice that the stacks were so puny. Since you pointed that out, I'd just shove in.
