first, you can change the converter from FT to 2+2 from the drop down list.

make it $12 to go pre-flop. no-min raising.

check flop looks good, depending on your image a massive overbet might be good too.

either way the turn line is weak lead for 2/3 or 3/4 the pot at least $10 here...

river lead for 2/3 pot.

I probably would've bet flop, since I raised...any pocket pair would probably call or raise, and alot of hands would call or raise thinking it was a continuation bet, since I do it alot.

Then on turn, I probably check, trying to look like i'm giving up my continuation bet and make the guy bet. If he bets, I call or checkraise, depending on how scared he i think he is.

River I probably lead for like 2/3 pot.

As this hand is played, it looks like you're bound to not get any money out of him

You needed a draw to come through on the river to extract anything else. I would bet the flop. You shouldn't play a monster any different than you would AA, AK, or QQ here.

If you suspect villain is on a draw then calling the turn is fine (recognize he needs to hit to get paid), but if think he his raise means a 9, then push it right there before a flush card scares him on the river.

I apologize for my haste. I thought I clicked the 2+2.

My image is definitley tight. A massive overbet would've killed my action. I think a $12 re-raise would've as well.

The line on the turn was purposely weak. I was trying to induce a bluff. I feel if I lead for 2/3 or 3/4 of the pot I would've killed the action. I think he was on a spade or club draw and a lead that large would kill his pot odds. I wanted him to hit his flush this time.

I think your turn line is weak because you failed to bet on the flop, so it makes it hard to play the turn

$9 is a approximately potsize raise preflop

half-pot the flop. the check after a reraise is suspicious and almost always top set or boat playing dead.

4_2_it,

Why would you play this monster the same as AA, AK, or QQ? If I lead out, the only thing following me is a 9. My opponent probably doesn't have a 9 considering two 9's are on the board. My thought was let him catch up and punish him later.

I think you might be giving Flop leads too much credit...I would make that flop bet with a wide variety of hands, and thus, a wide variety of hands would call me, not knowing what I have
