Default AKs as huge stack vs. other big stack at table?

Stars $10+1 rebuy MTT. How would you play this hand preflop and on the flop? UTG+1 is villian and I have him outstacked by $10,000 chips. He has played pretty solid since I was moved to the table. Should I not tangle with the other big stack at my table when the avg stack is t18,000?

Thanks for your help.

I'd fold PF and it wouldn't really be close. It's a call on the flop, though.

What about risking T9000 for the possibility of T32,000? Close to 4 to 1 implied odds?

AKs is the opposite of an 'implied odds' hand, this hand being a good example of why.

I'd fold pre-flop to a raise and a re-raise by a big stack. I'd call the flop. 2 to 1 odds is too good to pass up when you are a coin flip against his range of hands. But this is EXACTLY why you don't want to tangle with another big stack putting that many chips in pre-flop. You are very likely to be playing for all your chips in a tough situation like this.
