Default middle pair vs. lag - turn decision

No solid numbers on Villian ...I just arrived at the table. A few hands ago he limp reraised queens and he has been in almost every hand (~3 orbits)

I raised turn for protection/free showdown. Normally I would fold the river UI but pot was giving me 13 to 1 and I don't think he would bet out a king on that flop (he would normally go for a c/r or c/c then turn c/r)

Final Pot: 12 BB

Just call down. Why raise for a free SD and protection? protection from who, its HU?

So u raise for a free SD and you are 3bet, i dont think he makes this play with a draw or a MPP or a weaker Q. He clearly has a K or 2pair.

I should rephrase that. I raise for free SD and to charge straight/flush draws as well.

3/6 3 handed against a player like this on this board? I would think he's capable of 3 betting a much wider range.

ok, ill rephrase, i cant see him 3betting anything here that you come close to beating on the turn. I do agree with charging a draw here but when u are 3bet on the turn i think u need to either fold or fold the river UI. Calling this river against 80% of players after the turn action would have to be a leak imo.

I still like calling down and betting any river if checked to. With top pair i like your line better.

After the BB folds on the flop, just call down.

Hey, I would also not raise turn. The way you played it you should probably fold to the turn 3bet but definitely should fold the river.

If you cannot fold to either the turn 3bet or river bet you shouldn't be raising the turn in this spot for sure.
