Default New Players Should Not Read This!

Why?

Because it's only after 100 of thousands of hands do you begin to develop psychic powers to determine what the flop will bring.

Check this out if you don't believe me!

Party Poker 2/4 Hold'em (8 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is UTG with 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. CO posts a blind of $2. UTG+1 posts a blind of $2.
Hero raises, UTG+1 (poster) calls, 2 folds, CO (poster) calls, Button calls, 1 fold, BB calls.

Flop: (10.50 SB) 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (5 players)
BB checks, Hero bets, UTG+1 calls, CO calls, Button raises, BB folds, Hero 3-bets, UTG+1 folds, CO calls, Button calls.

Turn: (10.25 BB) Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players)
Hero bets, CO calls, Button calls.

River: (13.25 BB) 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players)
Hero bets, CO calls, Button calls.

Final Pot: 16.25 BB

Results in white below:
I misread my hand and thought it was 88. Crap! Then I saw the flop and LMAO!
Hero has 6h 8c (straight, eight high).
CO has Ah Qh (one pair, queens).
Button has 4h 3h (one pair, fours).
Outcome: Hero wins 16.25 BB.

Here's the beauty of it. The next orbit I'm UTG, I get AA and noone believes me after the crap that I showed last time! Awesome!

Party Poker 2/4 Hold'em (9 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is UTG with A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
Hero raises, UTG+1 calls, 2 folds, MP3 calls, 1 fold, Button calls, 2 folds.

Flop: (9.50 SB) J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (4 players)
Hero bets, UTG+1 raises, MP3 calls, Button calls, Hero calls.

Turn: (8.75 BB) K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (4 players)
Hero checks, UTG+1 bets, MP3 calls, Button calls, Hero raises, UTG+1 calls, MP3 calls, Button folds.

River: (15.75 BB) K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players)
Hero bets, UTG+1 folds, MP3 folds.

Final Pot: 16.75 BB

Results in white below:
Hero has Ad Ah (full house, aces full of kings).
Outcome: Hero wins 16.75 BB.

Just thought you might enjoy the humor here.

That = awesome.

Yesterday I did something similar, glanced at my cards real quick and thought I had KTs. Then I just figured I should fight for the pot that I shouldn't even be in in the first place.

how bout that button raise on the flop in hand one. Bottom pair second worst kicker, sucker gutshot draw, and no flush always equals raise to me.

Emmitt,

You shouldn't be calling with KTs UTG 7-handed, IMHO. I prefer a raise here.

Funny you should say that, I was going to post that, but thought it wasnt worth saying: I wasnt paying attention so much that I didnt realize two people had just left the table a few seconds ago so I would have raised. I sucked in many ways on this one.
