Default $400PLO check and fold flop i HUGE pot?

I normally never play higher than $100 and $200 PLO, but a juicy $400 game was running so i decided to take a shot.

(I'm sorry, I could for the life of me not get the converter to work)

All the short stack are HUGE donks (get stacked w/ top pair etc). Most of the 100BB stacks have been playing semi-decent. Preflop COs raise is most likely to isolate the limpers, i figure this means a decent sized pair or suited broadway. I figured he couldn't call off half his stack with just a big pair or he would just push so we could gamble it up. The pot is HUGE (over $800), but is there really anything i can do other than check fold?

Afterwards I really regretted my sidecards weren't better, but I naively thought I could get most of the big-ish stacks to fold.

I think the problem here was that you didn't recognize the fact that CO has you covered, and since he was the reraiser, he was the one that you were most likely to play HU. Also, since he was the reraiser, his most likely hand is also AAxxs. So, you are even money or even a dog preflop if his side cards are connected, or he is double-suited.

Anyway, this highly coordinated flop sucks for you, but I would have pushed all my money in anyway. MP3 isn't going anywhere, and since CO called your preflop raises, he likely has something like KQJTds. I don't think there is anyway a push could be -EV for you in this situation.

If your pre-flop read is correct, you probably have to push.

If you are going to reraise with AA and can't get everyone allin, then basically you are trying to get to a situation where there is only one bet left and you will bet it. This you achieved. By not betting it you are making a huge mistake. I would bet out in this spot regardless of what came. If you didnt want to gamble this much in these spots then you shouldn't have reraised preflop in the first place.

your mistake was re-raising out of position with aces before the flop.

if you never re-raised with aces in omaha (never) your game would not get any worse. and in alot of cases would probably be better.

Yeah after reading the replies and giving the hand some more thought I agree that I'm a pussy and should gone with my original plan and bet the flop all-in.

I think a better plan for the hand probably was to smooth call and check/raise a favorable board.
