Default what to do when not at best

What do people do if your not playing at your best? The other night, it was after putting kids to bed and paying bills, so I was a bit tired. I only get a couple of chances to play a week, so I didn't want to miss my opportunity. But I was crap, misreading the board and other mistakes. Does anyone have any tips on this or should I just not play?

I just _don't_ play if I'm not playing my best. Easier said than done, i'm sure.

This is the best thing you can do, especially if you're tilt prone. Better not to play at all if you're not on your game.

Playing tired is probably worse than playing on tilt.

Worse when playing live and you table your hand and
say "Trip Kings!!" and your hand is QJ.....

I don't anymore. Don't you either.
