It's the ultimate who cares. I post 40-80 hands in Small Stakes, shall I stop? I've posted 4-8 hands here. Big deal. Is this really a pressing issue of our day?

If you don't care, why bother to reply at all? Apparently you have some "pressing issues" to deal with anyway.

Because people constantly whine about clutter, then clutter up the forum with nonsense like this. The fact that it's a moderator posting this stuff is particularly worrisome.

Fair enough. I guess if a cluttersome ( is that a word?) thread is started, it doesn't matter if that void is filled with more clutter.

The exact point of my post/poll was to avoid cluttering the wrong forum with hands. I find that my 8/16 posts get little response from SS. I looked at the SS forum, and it says something like "up to 6/12 or so," then looked at the posts here and they all looked to be 30/60 and up. Nonetheless, the 8/16 at CP is populated in some large part by higher limit players waiting for a table (Nemesis in the hand I posted at SS was waiting for 30/60, and the wait for 30/60 can be hours long at CP). I felt the folks here might give better advice for playing against this type of player, but wanted to "check first" before posting.

I haven't played very much 8/16 since most places don't spread it. I think the Grand Casino tried speading it here once for about a month and then it broke down cuz people just lost interest in it and went back to the 4/8 instead. The only other place I ever played 8/16 was at the Bellagio about 4 years back.

The few times I played it live, it seemed to be a more tighter pre-flop game that resembled a 10/20 or 15/30 game, but had the loose post-flop play of a 4/8 structure. You'd have about 3 or 4 players calling before the flop, then all of them would stick around to stick around to see the river.

I remember Josh W. use to post a bunch of 9/18 hands here, so I guess 8/16 would fit in the mid/high section.
