perhaps i am miss applying some concepts here, but i'm going to try to respond anyway....here it goes.

all you can beat is a bluff, so i think you have to evaluate how likely it is that villian is bluffing. is he a tricky aggressive opponent that is capable of bluff raising scare cards, or is he a typical party player? the pot is laying you almost 14 to 1 on your call so you only have to be right 1 time out of 13 for this to be a + EV call.
