Default JJ

Canterbury 30/60 9 handed
UTG opens. he plays pretty solidly. i have played with him a few times, and have never seen him do anything really out of line. folds to me in the SB with J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]J [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. I 3-bet, BB folds, UTG makes it 4, I call.

Flop: T [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]8 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]4 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
I check, UTG bets, I raise, UTG calls.

Turn: 2 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
What's my plan?

bet-fold seems reasonable.

In light of that, how do you feel about his line up to this point?

BK... i realize i am almost definitely wrong, but I'm trying to learn.

That said, don't you think villain occasionally raises this turn w/ AA-QQ no spade, or w/ AsK or AK Ks? Do you just think this doesnt make up for the times when he has AA-QQ w/ a spade or a higher flush?

Wow this is a tough spot to be in. If you bet you have to assume that any big [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] will raise as well as any big overpair that decided to wait until the turn. I don't really see bet-folding as an option as I can see A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] raising here (or something like it). Your options appear to be betting and calling down a raise or flat check/calling down. I would probably choose the later but I don't play these limits and could be way off here. I don't really like the check/raise on the flop either. I would tend to check/call and then re-eval on the turn.

This is where we disagree. I don't think many players are popping that said AA and i don't think this player is either. He might, but usually when he pops it he's got bot a better pair and a spade or TT. You're right, he COULD do it with AA, but most players will either juts call down or wait til the river to see if the river is a spade.
