Default Proof of God Posts (?) and Philosophy

I just had to ask: with all of these proof of God posts around here, how many of these posters have read the most important (western) writers on the topic? I'm thinking Descartes, Leibnitz, Hume, Kant, etc. Just about every argument I read here approximately follows this format: "the world exists, something can't come from nothing, therefore God exists." I'm sorry if I condescend, but these intelligent poker players need to read up on their intellectual history before they repeat long-since refuted arguments of the past. Heck, it was a catholic monk who made some of the best arguments against Descartes' ontological argument... So much confidence and bombast with so little regard to the past.
