That board is pretty empty and I'd hate to get run off the best hand on the turn, so I'd just call.

Re: Party 20/40: Semi-lag bets into my KK on A44 flop.
There was a similar post by Ed Miller on a K33 board when you have queens. I think this case can be treated in a similar manner, even though it is more likely the villian has an ace than a king. If you are ahead you are way ahead, if you are behind you are way behind. Therefore the best line is call any bets and bet if checked to. There is no need for the free showdown. Like sfer said you don't want to get bluffed off the best hand.

Re: Party 20/40: Semi-lag bets into my KK on A44 flop.
Your play is only superior to calling down if villian can fold a weak Ace. I do not think any player that called your preflop raise in the SB with a weak Ace could possibly fold it. Online, you would never get that fold in any scenario. Seems best to jsut call it down - why give 99 a chance to fold.

No real reason to raise the turn. Especially if you're going to check behind on the river. If you're ahead, you don't want him to fold.
