Default Handreading again, from 2+2 table.

Subtitled: Y'all need to not be super reliant on the free showdown play.

Yes, again. 5-handed. Everyone trying to play their best. I recently chided Wetdog for calling 2 cold with a hand after a UTG raise and an MP 3-bet, and suggested he should probably cap or fold, regardless of what the hand is.

Bottomset raises UTG. I 3-bet next to act with XX. Wetdog caps on the Button. SB folds (phew). Shillx calls 3 cold from the BB.

Jaran (sitting out) types: wow.
I type in the chat: big PP's out

The flop is 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. Shillx checks. Bottomset checks. I check. Wetdog checks.

The turn is the 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. Shillx checks. Bottomset bets. I raise. Wetdog folds. Shillx folds. Bottomset calls.

The river is the 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. Bottomset checks. I bet. Bottomset pauses and calls.

FWIW, I'm still curious about what Brad & Wetdog had here. AQs and AK, I'm guessing. Maybe both AK?

Entity could be holding QQ, but I don't see why he checked the flop. Unless he was afraid that wetdog could be holding KK or AA, then that is bettable. Bottom set wouldn't call the turn and the river without at least a pair. Im looking at JJ,99 or maybe 88 for bottomset.

FWIW im probably totally off

I think Shillx will call with any pocket pair here.

How many of those pocket pairs can he have after his flop/turn play?

I don't know what PPs Shillx will lead the turn with after that PF action.

Edit: Actually Shillx would have to lead that turn after the flop action if he had any pair I think.

I'm getting about 13:3 here so yeah that is a pretty good assumption. There are also a few people at the table who are too aggressive and don't think their raises through at times. This certainly helps low pairs.

Bottomset probably paid off with A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

Entity has TT? Isolation 3 bet against OC's? Can afford to check the flop. JJ-QQ check the rainbow flop? Risky. Maybe KK, AA.
Bottom set has big suited?
Shill has low-mid PP? No set, adios. CC 3 w/ AQ? I really have no idea if he would do that.
