Re: Preflop question
Lots of guys here love KTo in early position. I hate it and fold there, unless MP, CO, and UTG are all super tight nits, in which case I wouldn't be at the table anyway.

Re: Preflop question
I think you've misread the post, i'm in MP.
I'm also a hater, however the point that was made is that an UTG 47/12 limps, i have KTo which crushes his range so i should raise to get it heads up. |

Re: Preflop question
Oops.. but what I'm saying still holds. If I have a 35-45/10 and 30/20 left to act behind me, I'm dumping it, as I can't expect to isolate this guy often enough. If they're both tight wimps, then yeah, I'll pop it.

Re: Preflop question
I open raise from MP with KT.
I would also raise after one limper. |

Re: Preflop question
Hi KidColin-
So what do you do if you only have reads on this first player? Assume the CO, button and blinds are typical 5/10 players. (Disclaimer: I have a vested interest in this hand as the post stemmed from a hand review discussion between me and the OP. I RRRRAISE KTo in this spot all day long.) |
