5 seater tourneys Vs 10 seater tourneys
Ive been playing single table tournaments on Ladbrokes regularly with buyins of 10, 20, 30 and sometimes 50 dollars. In 5 seater games the winner recieves 70% of the prize pool and 2nd place recieves 30%. IN a 10 seater the winner recieves 50%, 2nd recieves 30% and third revieves 20%. Typically in a 20 dollar buyin 5 seater. First gets 70 and second gets 30. In a 10 seater first gets 100, 2nd gets 60 and 3rd gets 40. The blinds go up every 10 hands and i would like to know which ones are more profitable. 10 seaters do take longer and have a larger potential return. HOwever, statistically ur more likely to come in the money of a 5 seater. Please reply ur opinions

Re: 5 seater tourneys Vs 10 seater tourneys
I love the $35 6 handed turbos on pokerstars. they fit my style perfectly. I play aggrerisve and steal alot and with 6 people its too easy.
I would say play them only if you know how to play shorthanded. if you are a reguler 10 seater, I dont really suggest this unless your game is peak at when 3-5 people are left. |

Re: 5 seater tourneys Vs 10 seater tourneys
Even if you do play better 10-seater poker, you are not going to reap the benefits for very long in a 10-seater as people tend to bust fairly quickly! If you want to win any STTs you will not be able to avoid shorthanded play, so this isn't really a valid argument.
