Wynn Las Vegas - Omaha/8 never went
I stayed at Wynn Las Vegas for a few days around Thanksgiving. They had an interest list for $6-12 Omaha/8. I signed up for the game each day. The first day they called the game but only three players showed up. The other two days they never even got enough sign-ups to call the game.
Wynn has a very nice poker room. But it does not appear to be a place to go to play Omaha/8. Maybe the game goes on the weekend. (I was there Tuesday to Friday.) |

That sucks. Every time I've been there, it goes, and it's full of the Vegas regulars that tour the casinos and play Omaha 8/b. Oh, and they all love to donate.
Check out the Mirage 5/10 game and the Orleans late-night 4/8 game. Both are played with a kill, both are very good. |

Bellagio usually has a 20/40 going. Bring a roll to play it though, it gets wild.

My experience with the mirage game has been that of a rock garden. But perhaps with the right local to tourist ratio it gets good.

mmmmm.....
get out yout knife sharpening kit and carve yourself an edge. I'm of the opinion that most people dont know how to play O8B, and therefore most games are more than beatable. |

Re: Wynn Las Vegas - Omaha/8 never went
I stayed at The Mirage for a few days before moving to the Wynn. I played the 5-10 Omaha kill game when I was there. Lots of regulars, but few people with much of a clue. I think they like the slow pace of the game.
