Default Rock games, and rekill games

I have some questions on how these games are run:

I) I've heard of the rock games before, but don't know exactly how they work. How many chips are in the rock and does it work like a kill blind, or something else? What's the opening bet/call requirement when the rock is in play- is it just dead money?

II) Rekill games- if you have a "1/2 kill, rekills" game, is the next betting limit 1/2 the previous one, or does it move up in stages based on the original limit?
Example- $2/4 becomes $3/6 becomes $5/10, or $2/4 to $3/6 to $4/8?
A better example: $20/40, $30/60, $45/90 OR $20/40, $30/60, $40/80?

If you are using pot size as the kill trigger (rather than 2 hands in a row) and the rekill hand doesn’t hit the kill trigger pot size, does it drop to the middle betting limit or all the way down to the base?
So, if you are at level 3 and the winner takes a small pot, does it drop all the way back down to the original table limit?

What if the pot meets the maintain amount for the middle limit, but not the higher limit?

Thanks
LL

I've gotten some more info on rock games and an example for the kill game.

1/2 kill, 10 big beg trigger, $2/4 base. First kill is to $3/6, next is $4/8. Now we're at the $4/8 level and the winning pot is $62.
Is the next hand run at $3/6, or back down to $2/4, since we didn't rekill at $4/8 level?

Rock- I've gotten two versions:
a) A rock is a small blind amount, winner is forced to post it immediately into the next hand. The rock owner acts in turn and bases their bet on the rock amount. The big blind must buy the rock from the departing owner.

b) A rock is only a forced bet when the owner is under the gun.

Anyone?
Thanks
LL

Rock games I have heard of are forced Straddle bets UTG only. It is 2 big blinds rubber banded together and works as a live staddle.

Never seen a 1/2 Kill/Rekill game.

"Never seen a 1/2 Kill/Rekill game. "

Does that mean you've seen a full kill rekill game and can tell me how that works?

Thanks
