Sunrise Earth - HDTV show

If you guys have HDTV and access to Discovery HD, try to record or TIVO a couple copies of this show. There are several but this one is the calmest.

Basically, they just take an hour's worth of sunrise footage from random scenic locations - very peaceful and fun to have on in front of you if you're in your recliner doing something else on a laptop.

But as any sort of mood peace - it's just cool - of course, there are those damned commercials - but if you remember you're watching a recording you should be able to fast forward.

They're on early - I think 7 and 11 EST

This is cool and a nice idea, but I could never stand it as anything other than background filler while I do something else.

oh hell yah....boring as hell to watch straight out. It's gotta be filler - I think even the show's commercials acknowledge that...no one's gonna get out of bed at 6am and watch that for an hr. without not doing something or getting ready in the background.

If I had a baby, I'd probably sit with the baby in front of it for an hr each day just to entertain him/her with the sights that I'll be too poor to take him to go see...

Actually, I am doing that which shall not be named around here on a crapola 800x600 laptop in my recliner in front of the 55 inch LCD TV....makes for a nice mood piece.
