KJs Passive
$.25/.50 homegame 5 handed.
Effective stacks ~$30. Villan is somewhat short and I cover. Villan is a fish. Not terribly loose PF but likes to raise Axs, and sometimes broadways. I doubled him up a bit earlier when he tried pushing his $7 over my $2 raise with KK. He won with A6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. He tried trapping me again when I 2-barrel bluffed the turn. He c/c-ed all the way down, won with 2 pair against my 7 high. So I think he is passive with strong hands and bets with weaker hands. PF: Villan raises to $1.50 in EP. Hero calls with K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] in the SB. All else fold. 2 to the flop. ($3.50) Flop: K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Hero checks. Villan bets $2. Hero calls $2. ($7.50) 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Hero checks. Villan bets $4. Hero calls $4. ($15.50)8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Hero checks. Villan checks. Too passive? Should I just dump it PF? |

Re: KJs Passive
given your read this looks good an i think pf is fine.
if villain would pay off on the river with 99-QQ then i may bet half pot there, especially if hes caught me bluffing in previous hands. paul |

Re: KJs Passive
I'd usually bet the turn unless Villain will 2 barrel with air.
