What do you think of my play? 100NL 6max
Villain in this hand is pretty wired, like to see flop & call raise OOP. VPIP 50/1/1. I noticed he try to mix it up in a bad way. Two previous hands I noticed he check all 3 streets against pf raiser with flopped 2 pair, missing check raise on all 3 streets?? And the other one he bet strong with mid pair and called down by QQ. I have a reasonable image.
He has 50 and I cover the table. One limper and I raise to $5 with AQo he call from sb. Heads up. Flop is JJ2 rainbow with $11 in the pot. He bet pot and I think for a few seconds and move in. What do you think? |

Re: What do you think of my play? 100NL 6max
Can he lay down a pair (2x, 33-TT) on this board. I dunno, I sometimes just give up. Other times I do what you did. I would want to have a decent estimate of my folding equity here before making a move.

I don't think you're making a short stack fold especially given his vpip.

Re: What do you think of my play? 100NL 6max
what is the chance he actually has a pair given his VPIP? If I sense he is bluffing, what should I do?
I am 30/70 against 2x or 33-TT and 80/20 against other random unpaired cards not including A or Q. If he is bluffing more than 40%, I am ahead. |

I think you'll get called enough by hands that beat you to make this a very -EV play.

Re: What do you think of my play? 100NL 6max
Bad play. You've seen him check two pair on three streets, push middle pair. This is exactly the player you dont need to do this against. Just outplay him. Save your pushing around plays for tighties.

Re: What do you think of my play? 100NL 6max
If he actually has a J and led out for $10 after checking on 3 streets with 2 pairs, then he might not be that bad.

Re: What do you think of my play? 100NL 6max
I think your play is poor. He can easily have a jack here, or a pair and get stubborn. Just muck it dude, why go after 22? You have ace high. Stop doing these bluffs and you will be a much better player.
