Top 2 on possible flopped flush $200nl- heads up
I have $200 and he has about $60. Only been playing together a couple hands.
I have 10-8 and raise to $6 pre-flop. He calls. Flop is 10-8-3, all spades. I check, he bets $10. I push all-in. Thoughts? |

(edited, I misread your post and thought he was the one that pushed)
Why did you check the flop? I hate this getting checked through and a spade hitting. I would probably just bet the pot as you will get played with by most pairs here. |

Re: Top 2 on possible flopped flush $200nl- heads up
I think you could have reraised to $30 and got the result you wanted which is to take down the pot right there. The $10 bet could be a draw to the nut flush or just a regular cbet with AK.
Looks standard.... the reason I don't like the all in is that it doesn't allow them to make a mistake which is what we want... a call which is hopefully not another spade but if it is then you can let hand go check/call or check/fold and save yourself a few dollars. Any brick that comes up allows you to push and again give them lousy odds of hitting. |

If I raise to $30 he only has like $20-$24 left anyways. He's either folding or pushing. It won't matter in a situation like this because of his short stack if I'm raising I'm going to end up all-in anyways. He won't fold the turn with $20 left and $68 in the pot if he calls a flop raise to $30. |

Call very quickly.
What's your plan on the turn if there is no spade? Let's say you come out betting and he raises. What's your plan then? |

Why did you check the flop?
I probably shouldn't have. My plan was to check with the intention of raising if he bet, or betting heavy on the turn if no spade fell. What's your plan if you bet pot on the flop and are raised? You folding every time? It's tough because it's heads up, so it's a lot trickier. |

I am really happy to get all my money in on the flop here.

[/ QUOTE ] snow, if you bet pot and are raised in this situation, you are not folding. you're all in and you're happy about it. he's just too shallow stacked for you to fold in that spot. |
