can someone tell me why A4o has 57% of winning in Hold\'em?
i think read that in Skalansky's Tournament book. is there an easy formula for figuring out that stat?

As LetYouDown suggested, there is no easy formula, but there is a good computer program that does it for you. In principle the calculation is simple, you just consider every possible set of 7 cards held by the other player and on the board; then count up how many times you win versus losing. But that would take a long time to do by hand.

Thanks! i just downloaded it. as for heads-up, it's easy to calculate. i tried doing four handed, but it would've taken probably about 10 minutes to get the results. [img]/images/graemlins/smirk.gif[/img]
