AK 4-handed, hit A, two players bet into you
How do you play this flop? 0.10/.20 Home game, down to 4-handed. SB has me covered, BB has ~10 I have ~21. I have A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] and raise to 0.80 (my standard pre-flop raise), dealer folds. SB and BB both call. They are fairly straight forward players, but will bluff at pots on occasion and play draws aggresively. SB might have a little of the FPS.
Flop: A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] SB leads out for 2, BB calls. What is good here? |

id push back to see exactly where im at. if either one comes back over the top aggressively then id consider folding to their aq or flopped set of 6s.

Re: AK 4-handed, hit A, two players bet into you
I would probably raise here. You need to find out where you are at. If I'm re-raised I will probably fold. If the SB is the only caller then I will stay aggressive on the turn. The middle player would have me a little concerned if a heart hits.

Re: AK 4-handed, hit A, two players bet into you
So there is 6.40 in the pot and a 2 bet to you. How much do you raise? I would think that you would have to raise ~6 to weed out a draw. This would make it a $20 pot if only one of them calls, and you only have ~10 left. Are you not pot committed at this point?

I try to take the lead. Raise, 4 on top of the 2.. You have position on them so if they call then lead out strong. you can give them credit for at least two pair?

Re: AK 4-handed, hit A, two players bet into you
raising seems like the best option here, you need to know where you stand, and your in position it's not that bad to build pot with TPTK. Cant let draws take there free card.

Re: AK 4-handed, hit A, two players bet into you
I wanted to raise to price out a draw, but it seemed to me that any real raise would pot commit me. A $4 raise would make it 4 to call a 12.40 pot for SB and perhaps even more enticing for BB. With a $6 raise and only one caller, it's a $20 pot on the turn and I've only got 10 behind. So I decided to raise all-in to try to take the pot down then. They both called, SB with AQ and BB with another AK (?). So in a 4-handed game, there were 2 AKs and an AQ with an AQ on the flop. I'm not sure if I was destined to lose my stack on that hand or not, but there went a night of profitable play otherwise...

Raise the size of the pot.

eh, looks like I'm on my own here but I'd consider a call, and then bet/raise a non-heart turn, check/fold a heart turn.
