Worst starting cards
We all know that 72o is the worst hand in Poker but since I don't play 72o it doesn't really affect my win/loss ratio.
My biggest losing hand is KQo according to my Poker Tracker stats. My biggest winner is not surprisingly AA. For those of you that have Poker Tracker, Poker Office or other similar programs. What starting hand is your biggest loser? For an easy read you can post: KQo / 28,000+ hands (PT) Please remember to post the sample size. Later, |

Re: Worst starting cards
Hands that look attractive to play but you end up making top pair vs. a dominated hand

Re: Worst starting cards
Are you raising KQo in EP. This was a big leak for me. You should only be raising it 4 or less off the button, muck it earlier than that.

[/ QUOTE ] This is very simplistic, and I would argue bad advise. What you should do with it depends on table conditions. Sometimes folding is right (like you are UTG+1 and an uber tight guy to yr right just limped or raised). Othertimes a raise is clearly right. |

I don't have my database with me right now but I know it's performing exceptionally well. IIRC, A2s and one of the small pairs are my worst hands at the moment, because my about-50k-hand db isn't enough to even out the variance. You need a ton of data to really answer this question. Last I checked, I was even a slight winner with 72o. The real worst hand in poker is 2222 in any Omaha game, followed closely by rolled-up kings in Razz. |

Re: Worst starting cards
Without game condition reasons, it is leak not to raise with KQo
In my current database (24K) my biggest losers are: 86o AJs J2o 52o K5o With the exception of AJs I have a VPIP of 0.00 for these hands. Obviously my blind play sucks. As someone else stated variance makes these numbers really innaccurate. TT is a perfect example for me when I view my database by seperate aliases. TT (14155 hands, 48 TT hands) = -19BB TT (180 hands, 3 TT hands) = -8.25BB TT (1353 hands, 4 TT hands) = 8.25BB TT (7051 hands, 42 TT hands) = 94.25BB So over 15K hands its a loser, over 7K hands its a big winner. Unless you have atleast 1K hands of each possible hand the numbers just wont mean much unless you start seeing patterns snd even those patterns could just be variance.
