Re: AQ post-flop
Bet too much on the turn. They know you have an ace so they are either calling/raising with the best hand or folding.
I'd bet around half the pot here. You dont commit too much when you are behind and you encourage worse hands to calldown. |

Re: AQ post-flop
Nah, charge the draws... looks more bluffy too. I see your point, but I think I pot it here.

Re: AQ post-flop
Draws dont have the odds to call half a pot bet, they only have 8-9 outs.
The pot is also smaller so you can easily fold to a river bet of 100 or so without feeling that you need to keep them honest. |

Re: AQ post-flop
A bluff no way, what is your likely hand range for raising from the blinds. Likely a medium/high pair or a big ace, very rarely KQs or something.
A pair bets that flop and you checked so your hand isnearly always a big ace. |

A raise from the blinds means the guy likes his cards a bit, sometimes they will even be the same color. Just because we don't play like that doesn't mean that 95% of our opponents don't. Lori Lori |

Re: AQ post-flop
No they are gonna think oh he must be bluffing now, even though he didnt bet the flop.
Hey I might call half a pot bet with Khigh because why would I not bet the flop with a pair. |

Re: AQ post-flop
I really dislike your preflop play alot. Raising that out of the blinds is ugly with that many limpers especially if you're only going to make it 45. Blowing it up big would be better, but I don't like that here, so I'd limp along.
Rest of the hand is purty. I think you take down the river alot. I'd be real surprised if he checked a 7 closing the action on the flop. |
