I raise with A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. Blinds call.
Flop: T [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. I bet, SB folds, BB calls. Turn: 2 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. There are pros and cons to betting here. If I bet, he may fold. It may get me the chance to check the river. He may also be on draw, and I may have the best hand, in which case I'd like to charge him. On the other hand, I leave myself open to a check-raise bluff. Or, if he check raises with a ten, I don't get to see the river, where I might catch a card to beat him. Also, he might call and bet the river. so, which is the better play? |

It's player dependant. Against an unknown, unless I'm playing a higher limit or a LAGgy site, I bet this.

You likely still have the best hand. Bet this. Most SS players are not aggressive enough to raise you unless they have something. Obviously this is player dependent, but on the whole that is a fair generalization.

Bet. You likely have the best hand in this situation and he is drawing to either the straight or hearts. Charge him for it.

bet/fold. if sb calls then I would take the free showdown if you dont hit the river.
