Level 1 QQ hand
MP2 seems donkish. Don't tell me to raise more preflop. I am happy with the amount I am raising and I won't change that aspect of my game. It is working very well for me.
Now for the hand. I feel I am missing a lot of chips by just calling him down. I know I am ahead so often that I should raise. Question is on what street and how much. A big reason is of course because I am doing a horrible job preventing K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] from drawing very cheaply. Re: Level 1 QQ hand
I think you're being very results oriented here. Unless you have a better read on villain, you have no way to know if you have the best hand, the best draw, both, or neither. He's allowing you to take a cheap showdown with a suspect hand, and I think you should take it unless you hit a Q or the K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].

I have been in similar situations tonnes of times and judging by those, QQ is good very often when villain bets this way. |

What do you do if he bets 125 instead of 15 on the flop?

Re: Level 1 QQ hand
I'd probably get away from the hand. Mostly because I would know it would take most of my chips to make showdown and he seemed donkish enough to call a flop re-raise all-in with A2 and he might actually have a flush and I would be drawing pretty slim.
Btw. I put him on a T or a 2 when he bets the way he is. He may or may not have a [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], but it is far from certain. I have seen this situation time and time again and it is almost always middle or bottom pair they are betting with. |

Re: Level 1 QQ hand
I personally treat t15 bets like a check, and if someone checks to me on that flop, I bet t100.
I won't tell you to raise more preflop, but I'd like to. |
