Raise draw on flop?
Playing 2-4 nl on prima. TAG opponent opens UTG+1 for 16. I call im MP2 with 8 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
Flop comes Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] T [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 2 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Villan bets out 20 into 38 pot. This seemed a bit suspicious to me. I have played many hands with villan. He is a solid, winning player. He follows through preflop about 75% of time, but then its normally in the 24-36 range. This underbet was bizarre. I flat called, fearing if I raise, he might have TT QQ and come overthetop of me. AM I fearing monsters here, is this an obvious raise? I opt to call, maybe playing weak tight. Turn is the 7 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] giving me an OESD and a hidden draw. He bets 48 now. I flat call. River bricks me with the 8 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] He bets 100, i fold. Did I play this hand to weakly? I know betting your draws is the way to go becuase folding equity and to get future sets paid off, but isnt raising draws in a situation like above suicide? |

Re: Raise draw on flop?
looking fine. you said you think that flop underbet is prob the nuts, so raising would just be stupid.
