Flopped straight, monotone board under attack
Ok guys, here is an interesting hand I played this weekend.
Villain in this hand is pretty near maniacal with stats of 40/25 and decent post flop agression. He's pushed me out of a pot or two and I've been waiting to smoke him. I make a generic steal attempt with a decent hand and get a big reraise back from him. Given his big reraise I think it's possible he has about 3 or 4 hands tops. JJ (unlikely because of my jack) QQ, KK, AA, or AK. If he has AK he *might* have the ace and a heart draw, same with AA. Obviously if he has KK or QQ he has no draw to the flush. I don't think AJ of hearts is a reasonable hand to put him on here, although it might be in the realm of possibility but I don't see him repopping here with that light of a hand. He didn't threebet all that often. Given all of that, I think my reraise on the flop was good. After that I think I have to call here...I figure i'm dodging either a paired board or a heart. What are your thoughts?
