$2k PLO8 hand
Just to show I don't always fall prey to the idiots (after those $400 hands), and to encourage those who are considering moving up that indeed, the higher limit games still have incredibly bad players:

Re: $2k PLO8 hand
Wow, that was bad play from Shellyj. I have to believe that you are getting lots of action because your aggressive play leads opponents to underestimate your holdings. |

Re: $2k PLO8 hand
Uh, let's not be reckless, in our encouragements!
Ok, first off, ATE don't read any posts, with the #@%^@#$%&@$%&@$%king hand history format. Too damn hard to read. Let's keep this in mind, for everyone who may wish to have ATE evaluate their hands. I want YOU to give me the details of the hand, not some BLEEPIN' hand history. MMMMKKK?! All right, now everyone knows, that ATE has already told people, that the very large games, have the most hopeless players, even more so, than the tiny games! But, all ATE readers also know, that I have warned y'all not to "move up" higher and faster than your talent, and bankroll can handle . . . .NOT EVEN ONCE! Nooooooooo! you may NOT "take a shot" at the 2000 game, after you just won that 5600 no limit tournament. YOU MAY NOT! If you do screw up, and fail to listen to ATE, you'd better PRAY, PRAY, PRAY that you LOSE! Moving up too high in limits, or "trying" a giant game, has busted more potential winning/professional players, than any other reason (other than lack of talent) I have written many articles on this, I'm not going to get into it. Ok, here's a clue: Giant games, are like HEROIN! You try it once, for the rest of your life you crave it, and can never go back to "just pot" again. Hey, I'm pluckin' warning you ALL: Do'nt try it! Never play a game, that's higher than one notch, than your regular game. Moving up, is a gradual process, when you have the money, talent, skills and experience to play that game, AT LEAST 60 TIMES IN A ROW! Yes, ATE knows it's frustrating. I have not read this poster's hand, but I can imagine that it reflects the sheer idiocy of some of those 2000 buck players. Beleive me, ATE has been there, played that!. adam the helpful genius |
