Dealers making comments about bettor
A couple of times in 1/2 NL this has happened and I don't think it's a good idea.
One time someone raised to 15 UTG. The dealer said "he never raises." No one called. Another time, I value bet a dangerous looking board on the river with a big hand but nowhere near the nuts. The dealer laughed and said "poker face", refering to me. I assume this is because I had a real classic poker face, which I have naturally, and not because I was showing anything. Again no one called. |

Horrible of the dealer. What? Is he Vince Van Patton?

Wow, that is horrendous. No tips (and a big complaint to the floor) for you!

Re: Dealers making comments about bettor
right. i might even be dick-enough to say out loud 'no tips for those who comment on a hand in progress'.
probably not...but I would think about it. dealers very obviously should not do this. |

Re: Dealers making comments about bettor
Absolutely unacceptable. Dealer should keep their big mouth shut and not comment on the action, or the bettors and their tendencies. End of story.

Re: Dealers making comments about bettor
That's terrible!! As a dealer myself, I find it absolutely wrong to make any comments about anyone plays...We're just there to make sure the games are run smoothly...

Re: Dealers making comments about bettor
These things happened on different days at the same casino. Thinking about it, I'm pretty sure it was the same guy. Next time, I will talk to the floorman.
