B&M tourney with 70 out of 300 left. First prize $100,000.
Blinds are 100/200 with a 25 ante. Table is pretty tight and I've been stealing a fair amount. New guy sits down and he limps in early position. I am in the cutoff with KQs. What is my play? I have T1400 left and am the smallest or second smallest stack at the table. Bruce |

Is there anything wrong with limping for 200 and seeing a cheap
flop? If I whiff I still have 6 BB and I live to see another day. Bruce |

No, easy push. If you take it down, it gives you over 500 chips whcih greatly incrases your stack. If you happened to get called, you are probably still in a decent position. I don't even think about this one.

I pushed and limper of course had pocket Aces and I was busted.
Couldn't help but think how if I had limped I still would have been alive. With 1200 in chips I still for at least two orbits still did have steal equity. Bruce |

and u limp behind and flop comes K high and ur still on the rail. You made the correct decision and got unlucky.
When you have 7 BB you need to get lucky and that's all there is to it. Better luck next time. |

Just curious but what B&M tourney has a $100,000 first prize where 270 of the 300 players are elminated when the blinds are still at 100/200? What was the structure here? Did the blinds start at 1/2? Seems a little odd to me.
