can somebody explain to me why this is a good play? i really dont understand the fold... the only thing that i can think of is that the hand converter messed up b/c it says that (2+2er) is the poster then it still refers to the hero who fold pocket kings... if thats right then i think he got pushed off of the best hand by AJ/QQ or something even worse like AK or TT.

Are you really going to 3-bet QQ after the preflop capper raises your turn bet?

why not just call the river for a pot that size. it seems that you would at least break even on that situation... im an aggressive player and would definately try and push a scared player off of that pot if i were holding QQ.

Wouldn't you call for metagame purposes? I don't want good players knowing that I am capable of folding for one bet in pots that big.

Metagame considerations arent as important in a multiway pot. We had 6 players on the flop 4 on the turn and 3 on the river.

Knowing I am capable of making this laydown is probably never going to come up again.

I like the flop. Shutting down in order to raise the turn.

As to the river fold: I think what you know about him is less important than what you know about what he knows about you. If this isn't the case, then call. Otherwise, great fold.
